Running the Progress Dynamics Configuration Utility

To complete the Progress Dynamics ® installation, OpenEdge provides the Progress Dynamics Configuration Utility (DCU). The DCU is a Progress 4GL program. (The Progress 4GL is the OpenEdge® Advanced Business Language (ABL) specifically designed to translate knowledge about business operations into software.)

The DCU completes the installation by building a new icfdb Repository database or by upgrading an existing one from a previous release. This section includes the following:
